David Graff was born in Alberta, Canada. He has had a circuitous but creative route to his status as a visual artist.
Graff’s creativity began as a lengthily career as a singer/songwriter. In 1994, he expanded into the visual arts by starting a faux finishing company with international success on upscale residential and commercial projects, achieving an Interior Design Institute Award, a Gold Georgie Award, and Architectural Digest showcasing his work in an upcoming issue.
Using traditional gilding techniques combined with paints, dyes and chemical solutions, Graff’s works are unique in their juxtaposition of modern sensibility and old world craft.
His work is collected internationally and includes “face time” in Hollywood features.
